Yosemite has two main rivers and they are the Merced River and Tuolumne River. The park also has some main waterfalls and granite monoliths. The main waterfalls are Yosemite Falls, Vernal Fall, Nevada Fall, and Sentinel Fall. The parks filled with large amounts of granite which forms the granite monoliths. Which are Half Dome, and El Capitan. El Capitan is the single largest amount of granite in the world. It was said that 3 million years ago the ice ages brought glaciers that carved the valley.
